Looking For Disney Channel Auditions 2011?
If you are an child actor looking to get in on the Disney Channel auditions 2011 season you are not alone. Thousands of kids are hoping for a chance to be on Disney show.
Perhaps, you are a parent who thinks you’re child has what it take to get onto a show. Maybe your friends or family are always complimenting your kids talent. This is a good start.
Tips For The Disney Channel Audition 2011
Practice Scenes From Shows
A great way to get specific ideas about what the Disney casting directors will look for is to watch the shows. As you watch the show ask yourself: if I was auditioning for this show which role would I most likely go out for? Once you have the role study it. Then record some a few scenes. One comedic and one serious. Make it easy on yourself by picking a two person scene. This will help you practice the scene with your parent. The important thing to remember when do this technique is not to imitate the performance. Instead put your own personality on the scene.
Take Acting Classes
Get yourself into acting classes as soon as possible. This could be a local community class or in your elementary school. The key is to get into a play or musical so that you can gain the experience of working on a character. Young Disney actors usually can sing and dance. The important thing to to note here is to find you’re strength and focus on one. You can not do acting, signing, dancing and school work all at the same time. Focus on one. This will give you the best chance at showing off your best skills at the audition.
Handling Rejection
Going out to an audition and getting a no is normal. Sometimes you can do a great job, even get complements from the casting director, and not get the part on a Disney show. Do not get discouraged. When you are auditioning there is a lot of pressure to do it right. The important thing to remember is that you can always audition again. If they say no the first time keep on trying! You will get a break if you work hard.

There are many kids wanting to out for the Disney Channel Auditions 2011 season. The biggest difference you can have at you’re audition is to have fun. Casting directors are looking for kids that know how to be relaxed in front of the camera. If you are having fun then the people watching you will have fun too!

hi i am jake i am 12 years old I have always dreamed of being on disney channel then work up to movies, the only thing that stops me is i don’t know how to start, I cant sing, dance but i can act but i cant do it in some crowds I may need some lessons but i want to be on disney channel in the us in LA or wherever you shoot, another problem is i live in england and my mom and dad do nothing to help me, please i beg of you to tell me what i should do

Jake. It seems you need some training under your belt to gain more confidence in your skill. I would recommend taking some acting classes in your local area. My name is Carlen B. I am 12 years old and I have always wanted to be on Disney Channel ever since I was a little girl and dreamed of being a princess on tv when I first saw snow white and the seven dwarfs. I love to sing and I even write my own songs. I used to take acting lessons and I love to write scripts and perform the plays in front of my family. I have performed in front of people my whole life for acting plays at my school, singing in chorale, and for the two instruments I play. I have never told anyone of my friends that I would love to be on Disney Channel but I am pretty sure that they would support me no matter what I choose. Hello, my name is Robyn Blagdon and I am 15 years old. I have always wanted to be an actress at a very young age and I have always wanted to act on the disney channel. I have some acting experience from doing plays at school, and I am always practising to better my skills as an actress. The problem is that I live in Newfoundland, Canada and I am unsure if I will be able to get to any auditions for disney shows, plus my parents do not approve of me being an actress, even though I love to act and it is hard convincing them to let me go to acting school in Toronto. HI…. I can sing and danc ei have been doing dance for 2 year now=Jazz. I can act and im very good at it. I love being on the stage and everything like that.I sometimes get a little stage fright at first but then im ok. The problem is no acting audition company awnsered me yet and i dont know were to begin my acting career. I would love to be on a show or sing ,dance. PLease reply. Thanks:)
